Classroom of the Elite is one of the school genre anime released on July 12, 2017. This school-themed anime follows an intriguing storyline about a unique learning system in a prestigious school. The story revolves around Kiyokata Ayanokouji, who enters class 1-D at the Metropolitan Tokyo elite school. This school boasts comprehensive facilities and guarantees a bright future for its graduates. Not only that, but the boarding school system also provides points equivalent to Yen as a means of payment within the school premises. Anything can be bought with these points. However, what astonishes the students is that they receive 100,000 points on the first day of school!

Assuming that such a generous allocation of points occurs every month, class D students become spendthrifts, squandering their points. Some students even skip classes and ignore lessons. Eventually, the day comes when they are supposed to receive their monthly points allocation. However, not a single point is allocated to class D students.

Their homeroom teacher, Chabashira Sae, then reveals the true hierarchy of the school. Each student is evaluated based on their potential and achievements, resulting in class D, already arrogant from the start, being allocated the lowest points among the four classes. They must surpass the points of the other classes if they want to receive monthly points and survive in the school.
